Musean translation

Mouseia’s complete machine-assisted Musean translation, made directly from the Sanskrit of F. Max Müller’s 1881 Anecdota Oxoniensia edition, all 32 sections, with the printed section numbers kept.

"Again, Subhūti, in whatever place this teaching is spoken or explained, even a four-line verse, that place becomes a shrine for the world with its gods, humans, and asuras. How much more so for one who keeps this teaching in full, recites it, learns it, and explains it at length to others! Such people, Subhūti, will be endowed with a supreme wonder. In that place the Teacher dwells, or one who stands in the place of a teacher who knows." [12]

Plain English translation

Mouseia’s complete Plain English edition, made independently and directly from the same Sanskrit, covering all 32 sections with the printed section numbers.

"Again, Subhūti, in any place where this teaching is spoken or explained, even four lines of it, that place becomes a shrine for the world of gods, humans, and demigods. How much more so for those who keep this whole teaching, recite it, learn it, and explain it widely to others! Those people, Subhūti, will be endowed with the greatest wonder. In such a place the Teacher lives, or someone who stands in the place of a teacher who knows." [12]
