1 Then the excellent follower said: "Be glad, prince!
2 May your heart rejoice; see, we have arrived
3 at the Residence. The mallet has been taken up,
4 the mooring stake has been driven, and the bow rope lies
5 upon the land. Praise has been offered, God has been thanked,
6 and every man embraces his companion.
7 Our crew has come home safe and sound, and there is no
8 loss to our troop. We reached
9 the end of Wawat and passed it,
10 we passed Senmut. Look at us: we have returned
11 in joy, and we have reached our land.
12 Listen to me, prince: I am one who is free
13 of exaggeration. Wash yourself, and pour
