Musean translation

Complete machine-assisted Musean translation made directly from the Sanskrit, independently of the Plain English edition. All eight books and the closing invocation are retained.

2.20.1 Fire is Hinkara; wind is Prastava; the sun is Udgitha; the stars are Pratihara; the moon is Nidhana. This is the Rajana woven into the deities.

2.20.2 Whoever knows this Rajana woven into the deities comes to share their world, their prosperity, and union with them; reaches the full span of life and lives long; becomes great through offspring and livestock, great in renown. One should not revile brahmins: that is the vow.
